What We Do
We offer edge-to-edge longarm quilting services at our shop. We do not offer custom quilting at this time. We also make quilts per client requests. We can repair/fix most older quilts too. Please feel free to stop during shop hours to drop off your quilt for the longarm. Please call (507) 920-9368 or message us if you have any questions.
Longarm Service
Edge to Edge quilting done with a digital longarm – a Handi Quilter Amara 24” longarm.

Classes
Watch for upcoming classes. We will offer beginning quilting. We will also offer some fun classes that are not quilting related too! See the Events tab for more information or stop in, call, or message us.
Batting and Backing
We offer five types of batting – 108″ Heirloom Bleached, 120″ Heirloom Blend, 96″ Heirloom Blend, 96″ All Cotton and 90″ Soft & Bright.
We offer choices in Moda wide back fabric for your projects. There is also a choice of muslin – 120″ and 90″.
We are also carrying a selection of Moda 45″ solids.

Day Retreat
Watch for all day quilting retreats – bring your projects and enjoy the company of quilters. It is typically a Friday/Saturday or either one! Whichever works for you. See the Events tab for days.
Please note the following:
- Your quilt backing should be 3 to 4 inches larger than your top on all sides
- You must provide your own batting, at this time. It must also be 3 to 4 inches larger than your top on all sides
- Please trim all threads and make sure your seams are pressed flat.
- Double check that you have removed all pins, there are no holes in your seams, and your borders are not “wavy”. Your finished quilt will be as free of pleats, fullness and tucks as your piecing allows.
- Do not baste your quilt sandwich. Bring as three separate items – top, batting, & backing.
- Please note if there is a top to your quilt or backing.
- If you piece your backing, use 1/2-inch seam allowances and press the seams open. I would recommend removing the selvage edges from the seam allowance seams. You may leave the selvages on edges that are not in a seam.
- We will guide you in choosing the thread color and quilting design. You may choose from our collection.
- Turnaround time varies. Please let me know at the time of drop-off if you have a specific deadline.
- My quilting designs range in price from 2 to 2.5 cents per square inch depending on the complexity of the design. I can give you the exact cost for your quilt once you have chosen a quilting design and we have measured the size of your quilt in inches.
- There is a minimum of $50.00 for smaller projects.
